Commissioning Engineer

 

Overview

The  duties of the role is the commissioning of dynamometer systems, as well as the service, maintenance, and calibration of products in the field. Overnight travel, including weekends, is expected. Our client's customers are placed geographically in most parts of the world and therefore the service and commissioning engineer must display a willingness to travel anywhere.

We manufacture and service dynamometers for many industries, including automotive and aviation. We offer great benefits and compensation, and make sure that the travel aspect of the role is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 

Candidates that have applicable and transferable experience related to Dynamometers can and will be trained as commissioning engineers, even if that is not a position they have previously done.

 

Duties

 

  • To provide commissioning, testing, training and service support at customer sites worldwide
  • To maintain good working relations with the Customers’ site personnel and representatives
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety Procedures and statutory requirements are complied with in-house and on-site in conjunction with the customer’s own policies
  • Time away from home office is about 70% of work time

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with Dynamometers
  • Willing to travel 70% of the time anywhere in the world, as required
  • Great customer relationship skills
  • Strong ability to service and maintain equipment
  • Preferred - Prior experience commissioning dynamometers
