POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT IV

Regular Part-Time
POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Support IV is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to ensure the proper flow of communication among team members to assist in the efficient service delivery of the physicians and mental health specialists. Working together with the staff and physicians within Huron Perth Mental Health Services, the staff is responsible for all duties relating to office management of the doctors and the community mental health programs.
REPORTS TO: Seniors Mental Health Manager, Seaforth
DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible
SALARY: $23.88 to $25.31 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Two year Medical Office Administration diploma
Experience:
- A minimum two years progressive secretarial responsibility in a health care setting.
- Previous experience in a Mental Health setting an asset.
Abilities:
- Customer service focus with direct client contact.
- Excellent computer skills: proficient in word processing, spread sheet, graphic software packages. Exposure to Meditech System preferred.
- Must be able to transcribe clinical reports using a Dictaphone system.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel among sites as required
