POSITION: Project Coordinator, Digital Health Initiatives
Temporary Full-Time (approximately 18 months)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Coordinator, Digital Health Initiatives is responsible for advancing the planning and execution of approved digital health projects within the Huron Perth & Area Ontario Health Team (HP&A OHT). This role works closely with many different HP&A OHT stakeholders to drive approved digital health initiatives through the project management lifecycle (Initiation, planning, execution, closure).

REPORTS TO: HPHA Director, Information Technology, Materials Management & Communications, but will take day-to-day direction from the Ontario Health Team, Integration and Accountability Lead

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• Degree or Diploma in IT, Healthcare or similar area of study and/or equivalent experience required
• Project management qualification (PMP, CAPM, Project+) or equivalent work experience (preferably healthcare related) preferred

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of Healthcare project management experience is required
• Contract negotiation experience
• Involvement in previous information technology projects, reasonable awareness of technology terminology and healthcare industry trends

Abilities:
• Knowledge of successful project management techniques and tools
• Critical thinking and problem solving, including equity informed program planning
• Advanced decision-making and leadership capabilities
• Conflict resolution skillset
• Adept at presentations, public speaking
